Song of the Abyss, CJ's first novel in the Songs of Nendavia series, first garnered attention on the interactive reading platform Galatea, quickly rising to the top of the platform's “Best in Fantasy” digital shelves. In September 2024, it was re-released on Kindle Unlimited. Physical copies are also available on Amazon and other bookseller sites in paperback and hardcover.
When sea prince Endymion discovers a human attempting to break a diving world record outside his hidden underwater kingdom, he's determined to protect the secrets of both his people and his heart from the unwitting woman who happened across his world.
Sample chapters are available on Inkitt for free.
CJ's primary focus right now is the angelic espionage novel she's currently querying, Wings of Doruri.

She is also working on the sequel to Song of the Abyss, titled “Song of the Sorceress.” This novel will follow the eldest Nendavia prince, Athanasius, as he finds himself on an unimagined journey that will teach him what it means to be a hero…and what it means to be human.

Found this wonderful read on gallatea and had to see if it was in print straight away. Could not put it down. A story combining Greek myths and legends with a modern heroine. Loved it and can't wait for more. Thank you CJ

This was a really well written book. If this is truly your first, OMG i can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. There’s a ton of world building, along with historical mythology & [then], of course, the actual story itself. It was done well.

I don’t give 5 stars, (except for say a very, very rare , perfect book. Like something by Jane Austen.) or you’d get them.

Fantastic world building, great character growth and lots of Greek mythology figures. I adored the 3 Sisters, the inclusion of various water fey (sirens, nymphs, tritons, merpeople) and the magic system. I couldn't put this book down. I loved it.
